Illinois Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) Practice Exam

In Illinois, there are no specific educational requirements to obtain a FOID card. Obtaining a FOID card does not depend on completion of a firearms safety course, possessing a high school diploma, or having a background in law enforcement. As long as an individual meets the eligibility criteria set by the Illinois State Police, they can apply for and be issued a FOID card.
